Candyroot is named for a small native plant that grows in sandy soil. It’s resilient, unassuming, and deeply rooted in this region. That idea guides everything we’re building here.

Candyroot Lodge sits on a rare stretch of naturally sandy land in the Carolina Sandhills. We’re building multiple golf courses, each walkable, thoughtfully designed, and shaped by the land itself. It’s a place to play great golf, spend time outdoors, and stay connected to the people you come with.

We believe the best golf destinations don’t try to impress at every turn. They give the land room to speak, give the game room to breathe, and give people space to settle in. Our vision is to build a place where the noise of everyday life fades away.
